The main method of producing penetration Bitumen 40/60 is using vacuum bottom,and the other way is crude oil cracking and remove
hydrocarbons from it.
In general, bitumen is manufactured from a special material called vacuum bottom which is transferred through hot air.
Also, it can be produced from refined crude oil after cracking and removing hydrocarbons.

Penetration Bitumen 40/60 is a medium-hard grade bitumen derived from the vacuum distillation of crude oil. It has a penetration range of 40–60 dmm at 25°C, indicating balanced hardness and workability. This grade is specifically suited for hot climate conditions and high-load roads, offering excellent thermal resistance, adhesion, and durability.
