Calcium Chloride Industrial Grade:
Calcium Chloride as a chemical products of pars universal bitumen (jahan ghir pars).LTD, has wide range of uses in industry. CaCl2 is the ionic compound of calcium and chlorine. Furthermore it`s a salt solid at room temperature that behaves as a typical Ionic Halide. In addition it`s soluble in water. Calcium Chloride Industrial Grade especially uses as brine for drilling fluid mud, refrigeration plants, ice and dust control on roads, and desiccation.
CaCl2 industrial usages:
some of most important uses of CaCl2 in industry includes:
- ice and snow removal.
- oil-well drilling
- de-hydrant in petrochemical industry.
- dust control and removal
- accelerator for concrete
- solidifying agent in paint production.
- preservative agent and anti-rot treatment agent for food, wheat, fruits and vegetables.
- desiccant for moisture proofing.
- coagulant in rubber industry.
- chloridizing agent and additive in metallurgy (ferrous).
- additive in paper industry and de-inking of recycled paper.
- SO4 – removing agent
- coagulant for sodium alginate in chemical industry.
- refrigeration industry.
- dye production and in printing industry.
Calcium Chloride in Oil and Gas
In oil industry, CaCl2 uses in establishing and maintaining oil and gas wells. Furthermore it helps fluids gain consistency, density and stabilizes shale formations. As drilling fluid it also seals casings and displaces mud. It apply in several uses for new or existing wells to improve efficiency and production. In addition, it uses in oil and gas drilling. It also helps gases keep from forming and sludge from getting out of hand.
De-icing and freezing point depression
CaCl2 as bulk is used to prevent ice formation by depressing the freezing point of water. This usage consumes the greatest amount of calcium chloride. Calcium chloride is relatively harmless to plants and soil. As a de-icing agent, it is much more effective at lower temperatures than sodium chloride. In addition solutions of calcium chloride can prevent freezing at temperature as low as −52 °C (−62 °F), making it ideal for filling agricultural implement tires as a liquid ballast, aiding traction in cold climates. It is also used in domestic and industrial chemical air dehumidifiers.
calcium chloride uses in medicine:
Calcium Chloride Industrial Grade has different uses in medicines. it apply in urgent treatment of hypocalcemic tetany, parathyroid hormone or vitamin D. It is also important to institute oral calcium therapy as soon as practicable.
Calcium Salts uses as adjunctive therapy in a number of conditions, including the following:Sensitivity reactions, particularly when characterized by urticaria.Insect bites or stings, such as Black Widow Spider bites. As an aid in the treatment of depression due to over-dosage of magnesium sulfate. As an aid in the management of the acute symptoms in lead colic. In cardiac resuscitation, particularly after open heart surgery, calcium chloride also has been used when epinephrine has failed to improve weak or ineffective myocardial contractions.
